As 2016 draws to a close, I'd like firstly to thank my customers, papercraft class attendees, and supporters of my small business. Without you my business would not be growing at a steady rate. You truly help me when my days are difficult. Thank you from my heart.
Secondly, I pray everyone's 2017 brings joy and peace, and that there is found a purpose in every day.
God Bless.

New outlet

This is not a good photo, however, Kezs Cards and Candles is officially in retail. My gratitude to Deen and Boh of Hairmoves in Frankston.

Combining Stampin' Up! with other hobbies

I love Stampin' Up! It has to be the most versatile, calming, creative thing Ive ever done. It even beats cake decorating....which, I might add, I can use many of those skills in my paper craft!

Have you ever thought of combining your other hobbies with Stampin' Up! creations?
Im doing just that.
Nothing will ever take away my love of stamping, but Im finding great pleasure in making gorgeous  scented candles, with matching Stampin' Up! colours, pretty ribbons and gorgeous matching cards, tags and gift boxes. Thats Christmas sorted!

With Saleabration just around the corner, purchasing $90 in occasions catalogue product and receiving a FREE product, has never made starting out in a craft easier!! Thats right...for every $90 you spend, you receive a FREE product!
How easy is that!

From 4th January 2017, Saleabration kicks off! start on your Mothers day, Fathers Day, Easter and yes, even next Christmas' cards and gifts. Imagine being that organised!!
No better opportunity than Saleabration!

January 4th!!

have an amazing day!

Christmas cards

Good morning and thanks for stopping by.
Its time to start sending Christmas cards so, I made some for my girls to send out. They love really simple so thats what Ive done, Im a fill the page up kind of person so its not easy for me to create simple.

For these cards Ive used

Whisper White for the card base
Pool Party for the front
Using Wondrous Wreath Joy thinlit and Circle of Spring Stamp, which I've heat embossed in white
Then mounted the card front onto the base using Stampin' dimensionals.

All these products can be purchased through my online shop by clicking on the shopping trolley icon to the right.

Hope you have an amazing day.

new candle fragrance

heres a little example from my previous post,
a new fragrance, Double Vanilla and Sandalwood
a slightly masculine scent with a loading of vanilla for a little sweetness
also available in melts and reed diffusers.
all diffusers are $25
this particular candle, (3 available) are $15 not including the cute bag.

Gift Bag

Ive been making these great gift bags for some time now. Originally the 'Hallett Bag in a Box', now with many variations, I love keeping them original but in differing sizes.

What a lovely gift presentation for Christmas with maybe.....a lovely scented, all natural soy candle for instance....

A couple of examples of my candles are now displayed at Hairmoves in Frankston, so, if you'd like a hair trim or colour and do some Christmas shopping as well, pop in, 67 Wells Street Frankston
or click Here to check them out.

thanks for popping by

A note of thanks

Just a short note to thank two special people,

Firstly, Jane Lee of  for creating the most beautiful, girly blog header ever! I could never have done that. You're so kind and nothing was too much trouble.

Secondly, to my amazing upline Linda Geater. Ever ready at the help handle, kind and so supportive! If Linda doesn't know, then she'll move mountains to find out
I can't imagine my demonstratorship without her!

Our mini market day was a great success. Lots of surprises too in this very small world.

These two projects are for a special order, a wedding and a Grandchild.
The wedding card opens at the back with the stamped sentiment and the hand written area.
the back page also opens to be the 'stand' for the frame card.
The wedding is in Bali, so I added the 'token' hand made Frangipanis and used the new Star bright stamp with dazzling diamonds embossed for a bit of sparkle.

The baby Frame is a keepsake. dates, times, weight etc are all there to place proudly on babies wall. once a photo of Baby is added it will be complete.

have a great day.

Ive received my pre order and how stunning are the new dies and stamp bundles? wow?
I say bundles, because thats the only way I buy. Its the best way AND theres a discount!

Stampin' Up! has kept me sane during some tough times and I need to thank them.

The stunning star burst candle in Lemongrass and coconut fragrance

Pillar candle

Starburst style palm wax, hexagonal pillar candle with gardenia fragrance.
This wax is so lovely in its crystallised look. I'm looking onward to making it in some soft colours.

Special orders

Baby cards, I believe, should be a keepsake.
My shadow frame easel cards are just that. Sit them on a shelf in baby's room, in matching decor colours, with little ones name being the main focus on the front of the card.
Not to mention special wedding cards that are a gift in themselves.
Here I've made what's known as an explosion box.....I make several different types and designs of these, all are equally stunning and a huge surprise for the recipients.

New name

So....Kezs' Cards is now Kezs' Cards and Candles.
Creating beautifully scented and presented candles really compliments my cards and gift tags, boxes and bags.
Candles are such a lovely gift for any occasion, and what better way to present them than in a hand made gift container accompanied by a hand made card or gift tag.

Christmas is coming!

It's time to start thinking about Christmas cards, gift packaging and tags.
Stampin' Up! Has everything you need!
I've created a couple of cards from the new occasions catalogue......detailed Santa die, sleigh die and stockings dies.
I love them and will be making loads!

Holiday Catalogue

It's that time of year already.
Stampin Ups holiday catalogue will for public enjoyment from 1st September till 31st January!!
I've had a sneak peek and it's wonderful! Something for everyone! Traditional and non traditional!
Do yourself a favour and have a look!

The feminine thank you card

This is the second card.
Using the new falling flowers stamp, I heat embossed in white on acetate. Heat embossed in white on vellum and coloured the back using Stampin write markers. This gives the stained glass look.
I made 3 in 3 different colours. 2 are positioned inside the card and one is the positioned between the others but on the front of the acetate. Add a couple of butterflies and it's done.

Thank you cards

I needed to make some special thank you cards this week. A masculine and a feminine one.
I'm not very good at masculine cards, however, I think I nailed this one.
Very vanilla base stock, crumb cake mat and very vanilla face mat.
I used bokeh technique with Sahara sand and crumb cake with an accent of pumpkin pie and always artichoke.
I then heat embossed in gold the two background vintage leaves, and for the front one , I first stamped vellum in pumpkin pie and added clear embossing powder for a nice shine.
Quite pleased with the result.

Detailed Floral Thinlits

I can see these little ones made in gold or red glimmer paper, lining the Christmas table with battery operated tea lights, or filed with multi coloured candy canes.
They'd be gorgeous too with a name tag and little gift as a place setting.

Wow, I feel like it's been years since I've posted.....
I've been so busy but I was able to craft this afternoon and organise instructions for this weeks classes.
My crafting was for my samples and displays, however, my instructions were for classes in 'Everything Embossing'.
Yep...dry embossing, heat embossing, stained glass style, emboss much more.
Please feel free to join us.

Anyway, here are my bits from today.....
Gorgeous clutch bags using Stampin' Up! Latest DSP, and a very cute but Simple bag.
Who wouldn't love a gift presented in one of these!
