Holiday Catalogue

It's that time of year already.
Stampin Ups holiday catalogue will for public enjoyment from 1st September till 31st January!!
I've had a sneak peek and it's wonderful! Something for everyone! Traditional and non traditional!
Do yourself a favour and have a look!

The feminine thank you card

This is the second card.
Using the new falling flowers stamp, I heat embossed in white on acetate. Heat embossed in white on vellum and coloured the back using Stampin write markers. This gives the stained glass look.
I made 3 in 3 different colours. 2 are positioned inside the card and one is the positioned between the others but on the front of the acetate. Add a couple of butterflies and it's done.

Thank you cards

I needed to make some special thank you cards this week. A masculine and a feminine one.
I'm not very good at masculine cards, however, I think I nailed this one.
Very vanilla base stock, crumb cake mat and very vanilla face mat.
I used bokeh technique with Sahara sand and crumb cake with an accent of pumpkin pie and always artichoke.
I then heat embossed in gold the two background vintage leaves, and for the front one , I first stamped vellum in pumpkin pie and added clear embossing powder for a nice shine.
Quite pleased with the result.

Detailed Floral Thinlits

I can see these little ones made in gold or red glimmer paper, lining the Christmas table with battery operated tea lights, or filed with multi coloured candy canes.
They'd be gorgeous too with a name tag and little gift as a place setting.

New SU DSP

Wow, I feel like it's been years since I've posted.....
I've been so busy but I was able to craft this afternoon and organise instructions for this weeks classes.
My crafting was for my samples and displays, however, my instructions were for classes in 'Everything Embossing'.
Yep...dry embossing, heat embossing, stained glass style, emboss resist.....so much more.
Please feel free to join us.

Anyway, here are my bits from today.....
Gorgeous clutch bags using Stampin' Up! Latest DSP, and a very cute but Simple bag.
Who wouldn't love a gift presented in one of these!
